FEDERAL SHARE CLAIM PROCESS
Web-Based Facility
To obtain payment of the Federal share of compensation, insurers will be able
to use a web-based facility (Facility) to electronically certify and submit
the information required by the Program. Insurers may also use the Facility
to find out about certifying and submitting the information in hardcopy. Telephone
and e-mail contact information will be provided so that insurers will have
access to assistance in registering, submitting claims
for the Federal share, and tracking submissions.
To familiarize insurers with submission requirements, a demonstration web
site containing functioning electronic forms, sample data, extensive edits
and links, but without complete editing, save or submit capabilities, is available
for review. The site can be accessed at http://.tripclaimsdemo.treas.gov.
