Interior Stairwell

The historic interior of the Treasury Building has a series of elegant corridors and staircases that span its five floors of offices and the basement. The railings and balustrade of each staircase retain a similar character in their appearance, yet possess details unique to the four different construction periods of the building. The reproduction lighting is representative of the original gas lit fixtures.
