One-on-One Counseling

ONE - ON - ONE COUNSELING SESSIONS

The majority of companies/agencies that counsel will also be exhibiting. If you are unsuccessful in obtaining appointments, you are encouraged to visit their representatives on the Exhibit Floor.

Representatives from the following Government agencies and large business Prime Contractors will be usually be available for one-on-one counseling.  Each counselor will identify specific areas of interest for which they are seeking small business partners.

  • To participate in counseling sessions, you must first register for the conference by completing the Attendee or Exhibitor CCR Registration Form (click here to register).
  • This year, registration for appointments will be conducted using the Treasury automated scheduling system. This will permit vendors to select up to 5 counselors, electronically.
  • To use the Treasury scheduling system, vendors must register. Vendors interested in the counseling sessions are encouraged to register in advance. To register, click here.
  • Once appointments are scheduled, an email confirmation notice will be sent to you immediately listing the counselor and time of your appointment.
  • A list of counselors is provided at the bottom of this page.

Appointments are limited to 15 minutes to allow all vendors an equal opportunity to introduce their company.  The One-on-One Counseling Sessions will begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. for the morning session and, 1:00 p.m. for the afternoon session.  You will be escorted to your appointment and given a "one-minute warning" at the end of the appointment time.

Please review the following tips from counselors who have participated in previous events.  Follow this guidance to help make your counseling sessions successful:

Before you request an appointment, please do your homework!!

  1. Visit the agency or company web site (links are provided) to learn about who they are and what projects they are involved in.
  2. Please bring your confirmation notice which lists your appointment schedule with you to the conference.
  3. Prepare a one-page flyer indicating who your customers are and what you do for them. Bring additional marketing materials such as business cards, brochures, capability statements, line cards, etc. in sufficient quantities to distribute.
  4. Plan to arrive early to allow sufficient time for signing in and getting your materials ready for each of your appointments.  Because this event is so popular, we will be prepared to offer "no-show" appointments to other vendors.  We cannot guarantee that a "missed" appointment will be rescheduled. We regret that we are unable to maintain a "wait list".

  5. When a list of counselors is available for the Morning Session, you will be able to click here to view the list..

  6. When a list of counselors is availalbe for the Afternoon Session, you will be able to click here to view the list.
