Medical Standards are provided to aid the Agency medical reviewing physician and TIGTA officials in determining what medical problems may hinder the individual's ability to satisfactorily perform the actual work without undue risk to himself/herself or others. They are also to be used to ensure consistency and uniformity in the application of these standards.
