Coordination of Cross-Cutting Issues

Liaison Activities

The Secret Service leads or is a member of a number of inter-agency working groups to ensure coordination and cooperation among the participating agencies. Many of these groups have representation from the private sector. These interactions serve to strengthen our partnerships with other organizations that have similar interests. To further support our mission, the Secret Service details agents to the FBI, CIA, and National Security Council. The Secret Service receives detailees from the National Security Agency and National Imagery and Mapping Agency.
